Another pet lover, Samantha, said, “I
have a labrador named Zoe. She is
three years now. People say laradors
are very lazy, but that’s not the case
with Zoe. My mother is a tutor, so there
are many kids visiting our house. Zoe
will go and sit in their lap and play with
them all the time. I am so attached
to her because I happened to rescue
her.” Samantha, who helps in rescuing
strays, remembers the day when the
veterinary doctor called her up and told
her about a 29-day-old puppy and how
her mother was not feeding her. “She
actually asked me to help this puppy in
feeding her through the bottle. I thank
God that I did so and could save her
life else she would have died,” she said.
The fest was supported by several
celebrities like film director Ashutosh
Govarikar, Yuva Sena president Aditya
Thakre, actress Minissha Lamba and
actor Dino Morea. According to Dino
Morea, “People should be more aware
about how to take care of their pets. I
have two dogs at home and they have
