Hopetoun Falls. This image came about
through perseverence, one of the qualities
that distinguishes landscape photography
from mere snapshots. I had visited the forest
months earlier but it was quite dry and the
waterfall was flowing at a trickle. While I took
an okay photo at the time, I wasn’t satisfied
that it captured the essence of the location.
I was grateful to return later in the year and
photograph the falls at their best. Sony a7R2,
FE 24-70mm f/4 lens. 1/15s @ f11, ISO 160.
