STEPS on Filling out an MLA Template

Step 1: Identify the source components – author, title, year, etc.

Step 2: Fill out the template. Use it to help you determine which

core elements you need. Remember, if your source does not have a

core element, skip it!

Step 3: Create your works cited entry citation in MLA formatting

(double spaced, times new roman 12, etc.)
