Unless you have a proper understanding of the effects of energy density, pulsewidth, wavelength, cooling etc then you will struggle to be successful in your treatments.
I was involved in the original development of IPL systems back in the early 1990's. As a physicist I understand the basic light-tissue interactions and how to manipulate them to get the best results.

Incidentally, quite often I see web sites where they claim that "lasers are better than IPLs". Anyone claiming this is talking rubbish - it entirely depends on what you are treating! They clearly do not understand what they're talking about, but I suspect it mainly comes from laser suppliers rather than users!!
