      o You DO NOT need to see the ‘frosting’ – this is usually not visible after the first few treatment sessions, due to scattering effects in the dermis
o You DO NOT need to hear any ‘snapping’ or ‘crack’ sounds!

  There is no point going over an area twice in the same session. The steam bubble vacuoles will merely reflect much of the laser energy back out of the skin! It is a waste of your time and will provide no benefit. (Unless you’re trying the R20 technique!)

      Once the treatment is complete, disarm the laser (to make it safe)

    Apply ice pack for at least 10 mins after treatment to I. Remove excess heat energy
II. Reduce blistering, erythema, oedema....
III. Reduces epidermal damage and minimise possible
infections

    Apply some skin lotion such as Savlon, E45, Sudocreme or similar. Some people use particular ‘post-laser’ creams such as

But, ALWAYS ensure a suitable SPF cream is applied – at least SPF30 (higher in countries with more UV exposure).
