Regal China’s Old Macdonald Kitchenware

Herman Kravitz founded Regal China Company around 1930 in Chicago, Illinois.
In 1940, Regal China moved to Antioch, Illinois, where it remained until 1992, when it Main St
closed its doors after a 62 year run. & Grant
In the 1940s, Royal China and Novelty Company bought Regal. Royal China began
producing its famed Jim Bean decanters in 1955, and in 1968 James Beam Distilling
Company purchased Royal. Exit
Hull Pottery’s highly collectible Little Red Riding Hood cookie jar was produced by 220 406 50
Hull but sent to Royal China and Novelty for decoration. Once decorated, it was sent
back to Hull for distribution. 405
Regal China began producing its Old Macdonald line of kitchenware in 1944.
These pieces were well made with clever designs and proved popular as inexpensive
