November 8th. Celebrating
A diverse collection of paintings featuring the sea; it’s bays and harbors 23 Antiques
and people and industries as seen by different artists of the early Twentieth YEARS! on the

The centerpiece painting of the Exhibit is a large regionalist painting of a
harbor done by Agnes Hart (1912-1979).
Hart studied at the Ringling College & School of Art; Iowa State University
and also with Lucile Blanch, Josef Presser and Paul Burlin. She exhibited in 11th Annual
major art museums and many prominent art galleries. Her diverse early works Fall 2 3
include social realist paintings and vivid cubist compositions. She also worked Gathering
as a WPA artist. Sept. 12
Smith has specialized in American paintings since 1975, mounting Peggy Capps, Proprietor
exhibitions in New York City, Baltimore, MD., and during the last 8 years in St. (352) 523-0999
Petersburg.
