                                                                       Deals Galore at Scott Antique Markets Extravaganza Ohio

                                                                         Despite the rain on day one of the Scott Antique Markets Antique Extravaganza,
                                                                       shoppers and vendors alike came out over the weekend to buy and sell their
                                                                       treasures.
                                                                         “We’ve seen a lot more people today,” Liz Bullock, a vendor from Columbus, said
                                                                       on day two of the show. “I think they’ve been pretty happy. There’s a good variety
                                                                       here and that’s what customers are looking for.”
                                                                         Bullock, who sells hats, pictures, lamps and many other items, saw customers
                                                                       carrying metal pieces, as well as a variety of other things.
                                                                         “They like boxes, iron pieces, maybe yard art, unusual pieces, old utensils,” she
                                                                       said. “We sell a lot of hats from England; bobby hats and top hats.”
                                                                         That variety could be seen all over the Fayette County Fairgrounds during the
                                                                       Antique Extravaganza held June 23-25. Booths and food trucks were set up outside
                                                                       all over the fairgrounds. Vendors also filled five buildings with their merchandise.
                                                                                  They were selling everything from antique furniture, jewelry and tools to
                                                                                  restored pieces and even handcrafted art.
