   Language. Circle the reflexive pronoun in each sentence, then on the line write its antecedent (the pronoun it refers to).
1. She was to find herself anxious to open the box.
2. He went by himself to the river.
3. They enjoyed the music themselves.
4. We are going to the fields by ourselves.
5. I poured myself a glass of water.
6. It moved by itself.
7. You are hurting yourself with that cord.
8. But when she came back to the cottage, there it was in front of her, and instead of paying attention to it; she began to talk to herself.
9. "Well, you could open it," said Pandora, "and we could see for ourselves!"
              Intensive Pronouns
An intensive pronoun emphasizes an action you do. The intensive pronouns can be added or not in the sentences. Intensive pronouns are myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, and themselves.
Examples: Epimetheus himself came to the cottage. Pandora herself opened the box.
I myself ate all the pie.
