It is important you do not confuse reflexive pronouns and intensive pronouns; even though they look the same, they are actually very different.
Both of them end in -self or –selves
myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself ourselves, yourselves, themselves
The difference between these two pronouns is that reflexive pronouns are objects that refer to the subject.
Pandora opened the box herself.
An intensive pronouns are used to emphasize another noun or pronoun.
That means that they do not need to refer to the subject. They can refer to any old noun or pronoun in the sentence.
I myself opened the box.
