Next, you will write a short story using the writing process.
1. PREWRITING
Think of the characters of your story.
Make a short description of each character.
Decide on a setting.
Write a short description of the setting.
Explain the problem and how do you think they can solve it.
2. WRITING
Using the information from the previous step start writing your story.
3. EDITING
Are your sentences in time order?
Do your sentences state a complete idea?
Can you add something to the story to make it more interesting? Did you check spelling?
Can the reader imagine the setting by your description?
4. PUBLISHING
Rewrite your story
Add an illustration to your story. Share your work with the class.
