    Compound words
• A word composed of two or more other words, but with a single meaning
There are three forms of compound words:
• The closed form, in which the words are joined together.
Examples:
bathroom bedroom toothpaste
• The hyphenated form: Examples:
check-in daughter-in-law six-pack
• And the open form where they appeared as two separate words.
Examples:
post office real estate full moon
