Now, it is your turn to write a fable.
Follow the steps of the writing process to write a fable.

PREWRITING:
• Think of the characters for your fable. Next, research about the animals so you can write a better story.
• Decide on a setting.
• Explain the problem and how do you think they can solve it.
• What is the moral point you want to make?
WRITING
• Start writing your ideas in order.
EDITING
• Are your detail sentences in a time order that makes sense?
• Do your sentences state a complete idea?
• Can you add something to the story to make it more
interesting?
• Did you check your spelling?
• Can the reader imagine the setting by your description?
PROOFREADING
• Correct any mistakes.
PUBLISHING
• Rewrite your fable and add a picture. • Share your fable with the class.
