Best day & time of the week to host an event
When it comes to picking a day and time, I find it helpful to first determine when it’s NOT a good time to host a live event for Realtors.
And immediately a couple things come to mind. As you know, most closings happen during the last week of the month, so I never would recommend hosting an event during the last week of the month.
Secondly, at least in my market, the first week of the month is also a busy week for closings. If your market is the same as mine like this I would also avoid the 1st week of the month.
So that leaves weeks 2 and 3. Now which days are best? Again, let’s look at which days are NOT good.
Mondays are definitely out for a few reasons. Realtors just finished working the weekend and many want to “breathe” on Monday. In addition to that, since the weekend directly precedes Monday, it makes it VERY difficult to adequately remind Realtors about the event thus you’ll get a lot of Realtors who will “forget.”
Friday is also out as a lot of mid month closings are on Fridays plus the Realtors’ heads are on the upcoming weekend.
