The Kancamagus Ride
Starting at Laconia Harley Davidson in Meredith, take right out of the parking lot onto Route 3 bear right on to Route 25 N which will bring you through Center Harbor and Moultonboro continue on 25 until Route 16 where you can take a break in The Smoke House Restaurant parking lot. (If you need gas this is a good time to get it) Take a left turn onto Route 16. This is a nice ride on 16 to Route 112 “The Kanc” before you get to 112 you have another rest stop at the Almost There Restaurant where you can get cold beverages and food before going over. Continue on Route 16 then take a left on Route 112 The Kancamagus Highway (Kank-ah-mah-gus ) known as the “kanc”. This is a very scenic ride through mountains with plenty of curves to lean into with lower and upper overlooks for good scenic views continue on your way to Lincoln. leaving Lincoln you pick up Route 3 if you want a cold one you have the Woodstock Brewery in Woodstock. Taking a left turn onto Route 3 (optional backway Route 175 on left) continue on Route 3 which has nice views of river curves on the road. In Campton at the intersection of Route 49, you have the Sunset Bar & Grill good place to take a break move on to Plymouth staying on Route 3 to Ashland out of Ashland stay to left on Route 3 back to Meredith. (Ride Time 4 to 5 hours round trip)
Bentley’s Saloon
Starting from the Weirs traffic circle, go up the hill on Route 11 B follow, to the stoplight (Patricks Pub and NH Liquor Store, on the right) take a left onto Route 11 to Alton. Once in Alton, bear left at the blinking light, and after you go over the bridge, keep right on Route 11 to Rochester. Once in Rochester, stop by at Rochester Harley Davidson on the left and then back on Route 11. Stay in the left lane going on to the bridge. At the lights take a left turn onto Route 16 N Spaulding Turnpike. Stay in the right lane the exit is only 1/4 mile to Route 202 E. Stay to the right, and follow 202 E to Sanford. Turn right on to Route 111 E. Continue to Biddeford, staying in the right lane going through town. Pick up Route 1 S right-hand turn, follow to the next intersection stay to the right Bentley’s Saloon will be about 5 or 6 miles down Route 1 S on the left-hand side of the road.
On the return trip, go back the way you came (Time of ride 4 to 5 hours round trip)
Woodstock Brewery Ride
Starting at Laconia Harley Davidson in Meredith, turn right out of the parking lot to Rte 3 N. Enjoy some nice curves and views of Squam Lake. Pick up Route 175 N on the right. Which is another curvy and winding road. You go through the small towns of Campton, Thornton, and Woodstock at the end of Route 175. After going over the steel bridge, turn right onto Route 3 N, and follow to the Woodstock Inn Brewery in Woodstock.
On the Return Trip, head south on Route 3 S. It’s a good road with mountain and river views. Continue on Route 3 S to the town of Plymouth. This is where you’ll find the 1766 Brewing Company, Lucky Dog Tavern & Grill, Flying Monkey, and more.... After you stretch your legs, head south on Route 3 S Main St. Continue on route 3 S and go through the town of Ashland. Stay to the right of split Route 132, and continue straight onto Winona Rd. Turn left onto Route 104 E, then turn left onto Route 3 N back to Harley Davidson.
