Franconia Notch has great scenic pullovers and overlooks of the mountains and ski area and also the home of the old man in the mountain. Take the Twin Mountain exit 35 to Route 3 N. Follow Route 3 its a nice road riding through the mountains. Then take a right onto Route 302 E. This road has some good pullover spots to stretch your legs and enjoy the views of the mountains.
