Class I - Culminating Activity - 25.09.2019

As there is no exam for EVS, the class 1 children presented culminating activities on Environmental
Science on 25.09.2019 in the school campus. The activities were based on the 4 topics that the children
learnt in the first term-body parts, plant life cycle, primary and secondary colours, extinct and endangered
animals. Parents of each section were invited to be part of the programme presented by each class. The
children prepared for the show in a short time. Parents appreciated the programme a lot as children
enjoyed putting up each activity with understanding. They are looking forward to such activities on EVS.

Class II Culminating Activity – 26.09.2019

EVS culminating activity, for the students of Class II, was conducted on 26th September 2019. All
the children participated eagerly in the activity. Children showcased their knowledge of the concepts, they
had learnt in Term I. The knowledge perceived by the students was unfolded to the parents through various
performances.

Students presented fashion show on various animals and their products, Group discussions on the
functions of body organs, Group song on the parts of the plants, Show and Tell on various plant products, Skit
on the various types of animals in the forest and Story time, describing the various types of the plants. The
parents were delighted to see the knowledge presented by the students.
