                                                                   extend the theme of Peace through white colour, and
                                                                   Celebrating the Environment – The Essence of Life.
                                                                           We at San Academy COLLABORATED different
                                                                   Asian  countries,  with  different  cultures,  brought
                                                                   together to form a single continent. The broadened
                                                                   the understanding in the minds of the audience of a
                                                                   “greater good,” which can lead to world-wide success.
                                                                   The  countries  brought  onto  the  stage  were  China,
                                                                   Philippines,  Kazakhstan,  Nepal,  Armenia,  Turkey  and
                                                                   Thailand.
                                                                           COMMUNICATION  is  of  two  types:-  Verbal
                                                                   and Non- Verbal. A Mime on the impact of adverse
                                                                   conditions was tastefully presented. Commemorating
                                                                   the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the
                                                                   Tamil  Skit  revolved  on  what  would  be  the  scenario
                                                                   if Gandhiji appeared in Chennai for a day. The story
                                                                   thread  had  the  audience  captivated.  Merchant  of
                                                                   Venice – Though the play had most of its dialogues as
                                                                   poetic verse, we had the children presenting the story
                                                                   in  the  play  form.  Antonio,  Bassanio,  Portia,  Nerissa,
                                                                   Prince of Morocco and of course Shylock brought the
                                                                   stage alive.
                                                                           The choreography for each dance was unique
                                                                   and was assisted by well chosen costumes. Teachers’
                                                                   efforts could be seen as each item had a distinctive
                                                                   background,  special  props  allowed  to  drop  in  from
                                                                   ceilings, and apt settings given on the stage.
                                                                           The Chief guest gave a short speech giving an
                                                                   insight to his personality. The programme culminated
                                                                   with the National Anthem.
