Search Me O God and Know My Heart

Search me O God and know my heart.

Help me O God to know the desires of
my heart. I need to know what I’m
truly searching after. I need to know so

that I will not be seduced by
opportunities that belong in someone
else’s life. Help me to know my heart’s Let me know, so I may expose my
true longing so that I can stop holding desires to the light of your wisdom
on to habits and responsibilities that and understanding.
leave me busy but not fulfilled.
Reveal my desires to me O God so
Search my heart O God so that I will that I may know them by name. if I

not judge myself by the successes or call my desires by their names I will
failure of others. Search me and let be able to stop looking to find them
me know; let me feel my heart. Let me in the people, places and situations
know what it wants so that I can bring that call out to me.
it before you in prayer and ask you to
give me the desires of my heart. I can call out their names and if

they do not answer; I will stop
expecting to receive from them
what they cannot give to me.
