Scarecrow Making
The leaves are changing color, the temperature is cooling down. What says Autumn more than making a scarecrow with a background of beautiful fall colors? All supplies are included; stakes, clothes, accessories, heads, and stuffing. You must pre-register for each scarecrow that will be made. No walk-ins available. Crafts and other activities will be offered.
Family Fun
Summer Fun Ceramics
Have fun this summer painting ceramics. Select from flip flops, bugs, flowers, and other general items. Purchase an unfinished ceramic item, paint it, and we’ll fire it for you. The cost varies per piece. Purchases end at 1:30 pm to allow time for painting.

Paint with a Painted Turtle
Join our painted turtles as they create a masterpiece on canvas while you paint a ceramic turtle figurine to take home. Learn a few facts and touch a few turtles. Come dressed to paint! Pre-registration is required.

Need some time away from the kids? Sign them up for a fun filled night of arts & crafts, games, socializing, and much more. Dinner will be provided for each participant. First child $25, second child $15, and each additional child $5.
Paint and Snack
Enjoy a night of painting with your friends at Nowell Park Recreation Center! Painting options will consist of seasonal paintings of landscapes and everything in between. The sky’s the limit as to what you can do in this class. All supplies and snacks will be provided.
