Blue Tides Swim Team
The Joliet Blue Tides Swim Team is for swimmers 18 and under who want to take their swimming to the next level! Practices are offered daily and meets are held throughout the season in Illinois and nearby states. Swimmers should be able to swim
at least 2 lengths each of freesyle and backstroke, as well as demonstrate knowledge of breaststroke and butterfly. Summer Season begins April 13 and runs through mid July. For those who qualify, championship meets are held at the end of July/early August. Winter season begins September 8 and runs through February/March 2021. Blue Tides Masters Swim Team
The Joliet Blue Tides Masters Swim Team is for swimmers 18 and older who enjoy swimming laps. We have a place for all ability levels and interests including fitness, competitive, and triathletes. All swimmers who are comfortable in deep water and can swim at least 2 lengths of the pool with their face in the water are welcome. Masters swimming is a great way to get in shape and achieve your goals with the camaraderie of a team of other adults. Practices are led by a US Masters Certified Coach. All swimmers must be registered with

The Swim Team Clinic is designed for swimmers who have progressed through lessons and are ready for a swim team. This is a great way to find out what a swim team is like before officially “jumping in!” Swimmers will work on all 4 strokes throughout the week as well as starts, turns, and other fundamentals of competitive swimming. Information regarding the Blue Tides Swim Team will be available and swimmers who are ready to join the team will be able to do so following the completion of the clinic. Swimmers should be able to swim at least 1 length of freestyle and backstroke. All participants will receive a swim cap.
