Tadpoles
Join Tadpoles class for a hands-on exploration through nature with your toddler! Together you will see and touch live animals, explore the woods on a guided hike, and put your child’s
fine motor skills to work with a nature-themed craft. Please dress for the weather; wear clothes and shoes for playing and painting! Please pre-register for this program. December will be a shortened session because of the holiday season. Mask guidelines should be followed when inside the building.

Nature Babies
Nature Babies will experience a hands-on exploration of nature! They get to see and touch live animals, go on a guided hike to explore the woods, and work on a nature-themed

Bring your friendly pets to Pilcher Park Nature Center for a picture with Santa Claus. Proceeds will go toward the feeding and care of the Nature Center Animals. Britt from Blackbird Photography will take pictures then email you the digital files.

Looking to get out of the house over winter break? Join a naturalist for a drop-in nature-themed program. We will post topics, dates, and times on our Facebook page. Be sure to like us on Facebook (Pilcher Park Nature Center) to see what will be going on between December 21 and January 3. Space will be restricted and masks required. A donation per participant would be appreciated.

Volunteer Opportunities
Pilcher Park Nature Center has a stewardship program to remove invasive plant species like buckthorn and honeysuckle in Pilcher Park. Keep an eye out for dates that will begin in late fall/early winter. Be sure to like us on Facebook (Pilcher Park Nature Center) to see when we will be working in the woods.
