         Fourth Fridays Downtown
         Madison (April-November): Live
         music, extended shopping hours,
         and more on Madison’s Main Street.

         Madison in Bloom (May): Take a tour
         of Madison’s beautiful spring gardens.
         (biennial)
         Riverfront Run Car Show (May):
         Classic car show along Madison’s
         riverfront with awards, food, and
         music.
         Spring and Fall Old Court Days (4th
         weekend in May/last full weekend in
         September): Free arts, crafts, antiques,
         and collectibles fair around the
         courthouse square.
         Riverfront Wine, Stein & Barrel
         (June): Music, art, food, select wine,
         bourbon, and beer.
         River Roots Music & Folk Art Festival
         (June): Live music, craft beer, and
         children’s activities.
         Music at the Mansion (June-
         September): Concert series on Lanier
         Mansion grounds. Bring lawn chairs
         and a picnic.
         Music in the Park (June-September):
         Free, family-friendly concert series
         around the Broadway Fountain.
         Fourth of July/Regatta Week
         (1st week in July): Annual running
         of the world’s fastest race boats and
         family festivities including music,
         contests, food vendors, a parade, and
         fireworks. (Pictured on page 14, top
         left)
         Jefferson County 4-H Fair (July):
         Exhibits, music, rides, and more.
         Madison Ribberfest (3rd weekend in
         August): BBQ cook-off, music festival
         featuring well-known blues performers,
         boat rides, and food.
