“I’ll help you brush your hair,” said Toni.
“Thank you,” said Aimi. “And then I want to practice writing my name holding the pencil in my left hand.”
“Good thing your name is short!” said Toni.
“Let’s all write our names holding a pencil in our left hand,” suggested Grami. “It’s a great way to exercise our brains.”
“I’m glad I have the shortest name,” said Tad. They all laughed.
“And then I want to draw and color in my favorite art book,” said Aimi. “Six weeks is too long to wait to draw and color.”
“Not to worry,” said Grami. “Your new pink cast is only 48 hours old. You have plenty of time.”
