Aimi opened the door to the doctor’s office with her left hand. She smiled at the red-haired receptionist with braces on her teeth. “Hello, young lady,” said the receptionist.
“Hello,” said Aimi. “I’m here to see the orthopedic surgeon. She put this new pink cast on my arm. My name is Aimi.”
“Follow me,” said the red-haired receptionist with braces on her teeth. She took Aimi, Tad and Toni, and Grami to a room that had a high funny bed.
“Dr. Stafford will be with you in just a few moments,” said the red-haired receptionist.
“There’s one of those high funny-looking beds,” said Toni. “Like the one at the hospital’s emergency room.”
“A gurney,” said Grami.
