One—Startling Screech
“And here we are,” said Grami, a few minutes later, as she pulled into a parking lot and stopped the car. “We are at the Bird Zoo. We are on an adventure.”
“We are at the Bird Zoo!” said Aimi, clapping her hands. “We are on an adventure at the Bird Zoo!” She was so excited she jumped up and down and up and down.
Aimi and Grami walked under the Bird Zoo sign and into the Bird Zoo.
“Where are the birds?” asked Aimi.
“Birds are everywhere in the Bird Zoo,” said Grami. “Keep your eyes open.”
