“It sure is,” said DJ. “It’s on my easel under the big velvet cloth. In a minute I’ll unveil the portrait.”
“What does unveil mean?” asked Connor.
“Good question, young man,” said DJ. “Unveiling means removing the big velvet cloth so you can see what is underneath.”
“Grami says asking questions is a fast way to learn new information,” said Aimi.
Your Grami is a wise woman,” said DJ, smiling. “It is.”
Grami settled herself in the cozy rocking chair while DJ set Solly on the jungle gym. DJ opened a cupboard and took out four floor pillows. “These are for you children to sit on,” he said.
