“Tad and his twin sister, Toni, would like Keeto,” said Aimi. “And Connor would like Keeto, too.”
“Yes, they would,” Grami said. “Would you like to call them on the candy red cell phone?”
“Oh, yes!” Aimi said, clapping her hands. She was so excited she jumped up and down and up and down. “Hello,” said Aimi. “Is this Tad?”
“Yes,” said Tad.
“This is Aimi. Grami and I are at the
Bird Zoo.” “Hello,
Aimi,” said Tad.
“Where are you?” asked
Aimi.
“On our
camping trip,” said Tad.
“I know that,” said Aimi, laughing. “But where are
you on your camping trip?”
“At our camping site,” said Tad.
“Do you see any birds?” asked Aimi
“Yes,” said Tad. “I see jays and crows at our
camping site.”
“Do you see a Peacock?” asked Aimi
“No,” said Tad, laughing. “A campground is not a
Bird Zoo. There are no peacocks here.” 11
