She also saw a man with a big black mustache and a floppy hat standing by the tiny little house with the tiny little door. A camera hung on a thick strap around his neck. The camera was big and it looked heavy.
“This is Aimi,” said the zoo lady in the zoo uniform, opening the little wooden gate in the little rock wall. “She’s the little girl who is going to be in your pictures with the tiny little baby chicks.”
“Hello, Aimi,” said the camera man with the big black mustache and the floppy hat. “Are you having a good time at the Bird Zoo?”
“Oh, yes!” cried Aimi and told the camera man about Peacock. “Peacock is very beautiful. I liked seeing his blue and green and gold and copper colors. But Peacock cannot talk. Peacock just screeched and screeched and screeched. I had to cover my ears with my hands.”
