“It does have lots of pictures and lots of stories about rabbits,” agreed the very tall salesclerk. “It’s easy to help customers who know what they want and know how to choose something their friends will enjoy.”
“I think this is a good choice, Aimi,” said Grami. “Let’s buy this book for Tad.”
Aimi and Grami took the book about rabbits to the checkout counter. A girl with freckles on her little turned- up nose was standing behind the checkout
counter.
“I want to
buy this book about rabbits,” Aimi said to the checkout girl with freckles on her little turned-up nose. “It’s a present for my friend Tad. He likes rabbits and he likes to read stories. He’s an
introvert.”
“Good choice,” said the checkout girl with freckles
on her little turned-up nose. “Introverts often like to read books.”
