            The Aye-Aye. These endangered le-

murs are the world’s largest noctur-

nal primate and have furry gremlin

            faces, rodent-like teeth and long

            Crypt Keeper-style fingers. To find

food, the Aye-Aye first taps on trees

to find grubs, then chews a small

hole before using their narrow mid-

dle finger to pull a tasty meal out of

            the wood. Superstitious locals be-

lieve these weird animals to be har-

bingers of evil or death, and will of-

            ten kill them on sight.
