Carrousel Cecily Barker McDaniel and her
husband Carrafella Michael McDaniel are
excited to present their daughter, Laine
Spears McDaniel, as a debutante with the Strands
of Elegance Cotillion, Friends for Life Foundation
Inc. in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,
Incorporated, Phi Phi Omega Chapter, Alpharetta GA
on Saturday, June 4, 2022.
Laine McDaniel is a junior honors student at
Woodward Academy in College Park, Georgia. She
plays volleyball and is a member of her school's Black
Laine Spears McDaniel Student Union. She is an active member of the North
Suburban Atlanta Chapter of Jack & Jill of America,
Inc. and is the current Teen VP. Laine also serves in
her church, St. James United Methodist Church, in
the youth ministry and Usher Board. Most notably,
A tlanta Laine was chosen as a youth leader in the Yoga,
Atlanta
Literature, & Arts program led by Yogi and Peloton
instructor Dr. Chelsea Jackson Roberts. She plans to
attend college to study medicine and follow in her
father's footsteps by becoming an OB/GYN.
