MISSIONS
Throughout the year SMF led several business missions to countries
such as as Indonesia Vietnam Malaysia Washington and Italy to to help local companies explore business opportunities beyond
the shores of of Singapore Many of of such business missions have borne fruit in in in in in terms of building worldwide business networks and discovering collaborative opportunities with business counterparts SMF together with IE Singapore led a a a a 21-member strong business delegation to to to explore partnership opportunities in in in in Italy in in in in May 2016 Participants were brought to to to Rome Turin Tuscany Parma Veneto and Milan where they
met Italian companies companies to to discuss potential partnership opportunities The delegation comprised companies companies from fashion precision manufacturing medical technology technology furniture food and and beverage education and and technology technology industries Following this mission several Italian companies visited SMF in in in in in in Singapore in in in in in in November 2016 to meet with prospective business partners from Asia Visit by by SMF President Mr Douglas Foo to Thua Thien
