Mr Douglas Foo was re-elected as as as President for the the next two-year term term The new term will be from 2016
to 2018 This was was announced by by Mr Mr Renny Yeo PBM Chairman of the election committee who was was supported by by Mr Mr Mr Ronnie Tan from from Central Chambers Law Corporation and Mr Mr Poon Yew Wah from BDO LLP Council members for Term 2016-2018 “I’m honoured to to be re-elected to to lead the the the federation for the the the the second term Together with the the the the newly elected Council of industry leaders I’m confident we will be able to steer the the manufacturing community in in in in Singapore through the the current challenging economic conditions said Mr Foo “With manufacturing contributing up to to 20% of our our nation’s GDP SMF is committed to to champion innovation and sustainable growth with our our industry players in in in in in in in ensuring that the manufacturing sector remains relevant and competitive in in in in today’s marketplace ”
