SMF RECEIVES NS ADVOCATE AWARD FOR ORGANISATIONS
SMF was honoured to be recognised as as a a a a a a a supporter for for National Service
with the NS Advocate Award for for Organisations The award was presented by Dr Ng Eng Hen Minister for Defence Defence during the Total Defence Defence Awards dinner held at Pan Pacific Hotel on 26 August 2016 During the the Total Defense Awards Dinner the the NS Mark accreditation scheme that that recognises firms that that support national servicemen was also launched Dr Ng reiterated the the importance of the the wider community playing an an an integral role in in in in in in supporting NS and strengthening Total Defence He said “Businesses organisations and individuals make a a a a a a a a difference too When you you you support your your NSmen in in your your company or or provide
civil resources during mobilisation you directly contribute to Singapore’s security ” SMF AWARDED PRO-ENTERPRISE PARTNER AWARD “SMF encourages our our members to to constantly innovate and and adopt technology With today’s challenging and and and volatile economic conditions it it it is imperative for businesses and and government to to to work closely together on on on on on on regulations that support innovation and and technological adoption by businesses in in in order to to achieve transformational improvements and growth” SMF President Mr Douglas Foo
SMF was awarded the the Pro-Enterprise Pro-Enterprise Partner Award by the the Pro-Enterprise Pro-Enterprise Panel in in in recognition for for contributing proposals for for the the food industry by working closely with the the the SCDF AVA and NEA This accolade of the the PEP- SBF Awards 2016 was presented by Guest-of-Honour Ms Low Yen Ling Parliamentary Secretary Ministry Ministry of of of Education Singapore and Ministry Ministry of of Trade & Industry These are the changes that took place from SMF’s proposals:
