rude or unwilling to help if we needed it. After the people, the second thing
that we noticed was the cleanliness of the city. Prague is, hands down, the cleanest city we have ever been to. The street are void of trash, and shop owners are con- stantly cleaning and sweeping their store- fronts. These people are so passionate about where they live and work that they
put ef- fort into keep- ing it looking beauti- ful. We loved that.
kind of people you’ll find in Prague. During our tours of the city center we didn’t come across anyone
Besides the people and clean streets, Prague is a beautiful city. It’s filled with history from the cathederal to the Charles Bridge and the Astronomical Clock. We had our cameras constantly clicking, because every building was a photo op.
Now, a few practical things for your visit to Prague. The currency is the Czech Koruna, not the Euro. In some of the larger shops downtown you may be able to purchase using Euros, but in the smaller shops you will need the local Czech Korunas.
Most people under the age of 40 will speak perfect English, but having a few Czech words in your back pocket doesn’t hurt. So, we’ll leave you with these easy Czech words.:
