workings of the Divine Plan. You understand that every karma embellishes your personality, preparing it for greater tasks that will be revealed as you wait and watch with patience.
A Karma Yogi develops the attitude of renouncing or surrendering the fruit of action. Without looking for an egoistic reward or caring whether someone else is there to appreciate your accomplishments, you perform your duties to the best of your ability with an internal sense of integrity. And although your actions may not yield the expected outcome, you continue to perform your duties with patience.
The soul of a Karma Yogi submits itself to God alone. It is not tied to the objects and the circumstances of the world through the strings of desires. Such renunciation of egoistic desires eventually gives you an overwhelming sense of freedom and inner strength, and leads to the blossoming of true meekness within your heart.

“A devotee of God is humbler than a blade of grass, yet more enduring than a fruit-yielding tree.
He gives honor to others,
expecting no honor for himself,
And he is ever immersed in singing
the praises of God.”
