One who is truly meek has developed utter humility. You become a awless instrument in Divine Hands, without ever egoistically taking the credit for the miraculous results achieved by the Cosmic Will working through you. “How great is this work that I have done!” is never asserted by one who has attained the blessed state of meekness. In the over owing sense of ful llment that accompanies your mental expansion, you know that it is not the ego, but the Divine Will that works through human beings, producing great wonders.
The term meekness, in its more practical implication, implies the practice of Karma Yoga. Karma Yoga is a process of spiritualizing all activity with the understanding that your entire life can become an artistic process leading to Self-realization. Imbued with this understanding, you convert every aspect of your work into an act of meditation and prayer.
If you are a Karma Yogi you do not live in contradiction with the karmas or actions that present themselves in your life. Utilizing your intellect, you perform meaningful self-effort, knowing that your personality in the past has already created a karmic process that cannot be ignored or, in some cases, even altered at the present time. This being so, you handle whatever karmic circumstances assert themselves with a sense of duty and respect for the mysterious
