vai Bhuma tat sukham, nalpe sukhamasti”—“That which is in nite is Bliss; there is no Bliss in the  nite.” When the mind is illumined with the light of intuition, the world becomes a tri e before the possibility of the eternal glory of the Self. Therefore, devotees of God humble themselves for developing spiritual aspiration and for attaining mastery over the illusions of the world.
They are indeed blessed who mourn over the encircling ignorance that seems to devour human consciousness; and, in so doing, they are lifted to the ever-increasing expansion of Divine Consciousness. When the love of God illumines the human heart, the love of the world fades, until an aspirant at last rejoices in the effulgent expansion of the Self—the abode of in nite comfort and peace.
III. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
The meekness referred to by Lord Jesus in this third Beatitude is profoundly different from the “meekness” of common parlance. It is not to be confused with the dullness of mind that leads a person to simply accept without questioning whatever the world presents before him.
