declaration: “Ayam Atma Shanto”—“I am the very embodiment of Peace.” With Enlightenment, you become as perfect as your Father in Heaven and you inherit His Divine Kingdom—the Kingdom of Heaven. Like Lord Jesus, the Son of God, you become a perfect Child of God, a perfect peacemaker.
VIII. Blessed are they that are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. For, blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in Heaven, for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
The path of righteousness is never adorned only with roses; it must have innumerable thorns as well. When great Saints begin to spread their wisdom among the masses, they are often opposed and condemned, for the standard of virtue of the masses is ckle in nature. It changes with one’s mood, uctuates according to the dictates of ego, swings with variations in the social and political climate in which one lives. Thus, a spiritual seeker, in pursuing a course of action, must not be inclined merely to
