to be cultivated with great perseverance. If a religious person gives a sermon that causes you to proclaim, “Now I have faith,” your faith is probably not real. Rather, abiding faith develops gradually like a tree. By performing good deeds, attending satsanga or good association, and living a righteous life, you will witness its growth. When these are blended together, your faith deepens. You will realize that the world is a product of God’s in nite wisdom, and you are placed in every situation that is best suited for your advancement.
Indeed, always work to better your situation, because God has also planted within your mind the possibility of improving your circumstances to make them more ful lling. But avoid an attitude of either despair or craving; rather, maintain a sense of deep satisfaction and tranquility. You are living in a world that is created by a God Who is omniscient and omnipotent. Therefore, there isn’t any obstacle that you cannot conquer with Divine assistance. From the point of view of ego, you can do very little. But with God dwelling within your heart, nothing is impossible.
The last treasure is samadhana, the tranquil ow of mind to God. Samadhana enables the mind to remain balanced without developing contradiction with varying situations. If it’s cold and raining, rejoice instead of frowning about the humidity,
