the temperature, or the cold draft. Understand that conditions are exactly what you wanted—not you as the ego, but You as God. And since it is God’s will that delights you more than your ego, there will be a sense of relaxation and serenity.
If these six-fold virtues are developed, they are the treasures that point to the Ultimate Treasure: The Kingdom of Heaven, or the attainment of God- realization. “Where your treasure lies,” says Lord Jesus, “there is your heart.” If God becomes your treasure, your heart will be in God. Your eyes will become single, and you will be nothing but Light. Great will be that Light, the Light that goes beyond the light of the sun, moon, and stars. It is the Light of Wisdom.
Can a Wealthy Man Enter into the Kingdom of Heaven?
And again I say unto you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God. (KJV Matthew 19:24)
That reference to “camel” did not literally mean the familiar desert animal; what it really referred to were the large ropes that were used on ancient boats. As time passed, the true meaning faded away. It really doesn’t matter, however, whether the term refers to the rope or the animal, because neither could ever pass through the eye of a needle! In the
