drawing water that does not quench its thirst but, rather, increases it.
However, there comes a time when an individual soul attains a state of purity through positive karmas of the past and encounters Divine inspiration, a Divine Contact. This is symbolized by the Samarian lady, who with purity of heart and humility encounters Jesus. Then, the soul glimpses that immortalizing Water, the Water of Divine Love, of Divine Wisdom, the “Water” that the soul is thirsting for embodiment after embodiment.
In order to acquire that Water of Divine Love that abides in the depths of the human heart, let the water you are now experiencing in your life, the water of sense pleasure, be dedicated to Lord Jesus. Let Jesus, Who is within your heart, enjoy all your delights. Offer what little you have and Jesus will manifest in the form of Divine Consciousness to give the Spiritual Water that leads to Immortality.
In the same chapter, when the Samarian lady said, “Oh Jesus, I am interested in your water,” Jesus replied, “Come have a drink of that Water and bring your husband as well.” She said, “I have no husband.” Then Jesus told her, “Well said. You have had ve husbands and the man with you now is not your husband. Therefore, what you say is true.” And she said, “How do You know this? Surely, You are the Messiah.”
