petals. They do not care about the condition of the economy. They have no money in the bank; they do not write notes; they do not hold credit cards. These “illiterate, ignorant beings” bring out such a wonderful expression of beauty. Human perfection with all its glory cannot compare to the perfection that manifests without ego.
If you observe the way in which God’s power and intelligence operates behind every little thing in nature, could you not develop that kind of inward trust and feeling? If God has paid so much attention to bringing forth a beautiful lily that is present in the morning and gone by the evening, how much more has He bestowed upon a human being in a human body that is already a profound expression of Divine Art?
Little birds, as well as beasts, ants and butter ies have been cared for in such an amazing way in the universal scheme of life. Therefore, isn’t it quite rational to believe that human beings—who are the crown of creation, who possess keen intelligence and such a complex nervous system—must also be supported by that same caring Hand?
Therefore, we must learn profound lessons from the creation—from the sense of freedom expressed by the blossoming owers and the birds of the air and the sh in the sea. If you learn the art of relaxing the mind even in a world of constant pressure, you are the cleverest human being imaginable!
