far more productive. On the other hand, when you strive under pressure, your self-effort is quantitative, not qualitative. You may race around accomplishing things, but inwardly you remain hollow.
Where there is faith, there is eternal hope. The Divine is your very essence. God is not an imaginary idea or a concept created out of weakness or convenience. The amazing power of faith has been illustrated again and again throughout history by the lives of great Saints and Sages.
Faith transcends your intellect; but never contradicts it. Faith inspires your intellect to continue to explore in order to authenticate it. Faith moves mountains.
Such faith is not blind, sentimental belief. Faith is not a matter of merely saying, “Yes, I believe in everything that my teacher says. Starting tomorrow I’m going to have intense faith in God or Jesus and thereby be saved forever.” Rather, it is the sublime and sincere internal conviction that you are sustained by the Divine Hand at all times, and that that Hand ultimately carries the burden of the world with the most amazing strength and wisdom.
Faith must be cultivated gradually, day by day, as you harmonize your personality through Integral Yoga. As you succeed in this effort, faith enables you to attune yourself with nature. You realize that the same Hand that allows the lilies to bloom, that
