Who Are Your Real Parents?
In the spiritual life of every human being, who really is your father, who really is your mother, and what is the purpose of this world? One’s spiritual Father is God and one’s Mother is Prakriti, or Nature, which sustains every soul. The world is a great family in which everything has been planned so that the soul will gradually become educated and unfold its potentialities. In this process of following a spiritual life, these Divine parents must be honored and obeyed at all costs.
Obedience to God and Nature implies that one has a deep sensitivity to life and its demands. The voice of God, the Father, speaks to you through your conscience, through your puri ed intellect. Mother Nature, or Prakriti, benevolently changes your conditions and circumstances, as well as your body, mind and senses, so that you can evolve in the best manner possible.
Through prosperity and adversity, the Divine Hands of your Father and Mother—God and Nature—are guiding your soul to Enlightenment. Developing profound faith in that Divine Plan, in the Divine order that permeates your life, is
