However, a day does arrive when you become convinced that there must be something more, something better. So you decide to open a window, but just a small one, and just slightly. Lo and behold! The sight is so amazing it awes your mind. That vision now begins to inspire you to open more windows and to nally remove the boards so that you are able to view nature from every direction inside your home.
A fairytale transformation has taken place. No longer are you con ned to the imaginary visions of nature. You have actually experienced it—the grandeur of the forest and owers, the exhilarating, crisp, fresh air and the vast sky. You even take walks in the forest among the majestic trees enjoying the beautiful woodland creatures. You are now inspired to share your joy with others who remain locked up in their little prisons as you once were.
This gurative description applies to the life of Lord Jesus. He experienced the beauty of universality and eternity. He experienced the Kingdom of Heaven, unity with the Father, Oneness with God. Lord Jesus gave His Divine teachings so that everyone who listened might also open a window to eternity and experience the Kingdom of Heaven; and the same has been done by all Sages and Saints in all religions and on all spiritual paths of the world.
