To finish the show Canada's perennial favorites the Snowbirds thrilled the crowd, they take flying to an artistic
level creating a visual spectacle for the crowd below. The audience loved the "elephant walk" where after
their flight the aircraft would slowly taxi close by with pilots waving at the crowd.
Being up close and personal as well you could smell and feel
the heat from the roaring engines.
It was a genuine thrill!
The highlight of the show for me was the F-22 Raptor, just an amazing weapon in the sky. Its an ominous
beast that seemed to defy gravity and is capable of maneuvers I would have never thought were possible.
Leaving the show, I felt proud of the men and
women whose job is to protect us and
confident in the hardware they have to fulfill
that goal.
