In 2018 Remembrance Day falls on Sunday, November 11.

a flying
instruc tor
at #6 Elementary Flying Training
School in Prince Albert, part of
British Commonwealth Air Training
Plan.
After World War II, he became
manager of the newly formed
Athabaska Airways. Under Floyd’s
leadership, Athabaska expanded its
fleet of aircraft, introduced the first
helicopters in Saskatchewan and
began flying scheduled routes in
northern and southern
Saskatchewan.
