        which provides up to $10,000 to defray eligible
        training costs associated with the Private Pilot License
        (PPL).

        The second award, the Advanced Training Award, is
        intended for applicants who already hold a PPL and are
        seeking higher licenses or ratings. Since the
        Scholarship started in 1996, 57 students have received
        over $196,000 in scholarship funding.
